Cold Comfort

Things I've learned as my cold moves from my head into my bronchial tubes:
1) Mucinex pills are enormous.
2) The sedative power of two Benadryl is no match for an agonizingly sore throat at 3am.
3) Even my Dr.'s office recommends the Neti Pot.
4) Spicy food is a gift from God.
5) I don't have to worry about leaving a bottle of green superfood juice in the fridge at work. No one will take it.

  1. I feel your pain! No matter what I did when in England, I'd still wake up around 3 with that stupid, never-ending sore throat.

And if I so much as sneeze around my mom, she reminds me to get out the Neti Pot that she bought me. And I have to say, I used that in conjunction with Emergen-C all last semester (because I had enough to deal with with Comps and all and could not afford to get sick), and I didn't fall ill once, though my friends did. So there's something to it!

I hope you feel better soon!
